Grace is a liturgically Lutheran church. That means our worship services have a regular order and are steeped in traditions that go back centuries. However, worship is not stuffy. Worship brings us together where we hear a message of God’s unending love. Traditional hymns are sung, many of which may be familiar and comforting to you. And we probably laugh together more than most churches.
The real treasures of Grace are the people. We are proud of our community; many of us have grown up in Shamokin, Coal Township, or the coal region. We know that in an ever-changing community and world, God’s love is a message that everybody needs. We want you to feel welcomed and at home when you hear that message here. If you are interested in finding a church community where you can belong, look no further.
